Bharat Bhaishajya Shala began as a village clinic in Meerut district in 1945. Three generations of Rasa vaidyas later, the family still makes the medicines at our own facility in Uttarakhand, on the same campus where patients are treated.

Vaidya Chandra Prakash founds Bharat Bhaishajya Shala in Niloha village, Mawana tehsil, Meerut district.
The shala has been making its own Ayurvedic medicines since 1978.
Registered as Bharat Bhaishajya Shala Private Limited. For years this date was shown as our founding year, but the shala itself dates to 1945.
Bharat Bhaishajya Shala moves to Dehradun.
The Vaidya Chandra Prakash Cancer Research Foundation is set up, named for the founder.
The herbo-mineral formulation for allergic rhinitis enters clinical use. Thirty-five years on, it is still the most-studied product in our range.
Vaidya Balendu Prakash serves as Honorary Physician to President K. R. Narayanan.
Conferred on Vaidya Balendu Prakash for services to Ayurveda.
Padaav, a speciality Ayurvedic treatment centre, opens.
The family sets up Prakash Dairy Farm.
Bharat Bhaishajya Shala opens a food division, which is where the grocery range comes from.
The randomised controlled trial of IMMBO in allergic rhinitis is published in Cureus and indexed on PubMed Central.
The shala moves to its present facility in Udham Singh Nagar.

Ayurveda has no shortage of extravagant claims. We would rather publish the trial data and the batch times and let those speak, including where the evidence stops.
Where a formulation has been studied, the page shows the measured result and the authors' own caveat. Where it hasn't, the page says so.
Every medicine in our range is prepared at our own facility under our Ayurvedic manufacturing licence, Mfg. Lic. No. UK.AY-556/2024. None is made by another company and rebranded.
